The donated stone is from leftovers of the production of a war memorial monument outside Tana Church, which was erected in connection with the 70th anniversary of the peace in Eastern Finnmark on 8 November 1944.
The monument was made by Annelise Josefsen (b. 1949). She is a Coastal Sámi artist who lives and works in Finnmark.
