Stone from the fountain in the walkway through Folketeatret.

When the Folketeatret opened in 1935, it was Oslo’s tallest building and was called “The Skyscraper”. It was to house the city’s folk theatre and be a stronghold of the labour movement.

Until 1985, the passage through the building was a road.
