The Løkkebø stone, sourced from Løkkebø in Kinn, is a hardstone in quartzite and is widely used for brickwork locally. This includes Storevatnet in Florø and Brandsøyåsen. It is mainly light grey, but the donated stone also has a reddish tint.

The donated stone was obtained in the renewal of Storevatnet bathing area in Florø.
