The stone donation comes from the sculpture Water in Stone. It is made of red granite as a large basin and is located at Stortorvet in Oslo. The sculpture was made by Anne-Marie Backer Mohr (1928-2005) and Bjart Mohr (1925-2023), who won a national ornamentation competition held in 1985. The sculpture was paid for by collected funds and grants from the Oslo municipality, and it was inaugurated in 1993.

Stortorvet has been a central square since 1736 and is an important part of the public space in Oslo.
